RE0 is the only RE game that I played once and never touched again. My OCD wouldn't allow me to just drop items in any room, I had to make a "healing" room and a "weapons" room etc. Then I lost the hookshot and spent hours running through every room in the game looking for the damn thing! I would never play this game again without mods.

For people who aren’t dbd fans I can see how that ending wouldn’t be great. However it is consistent with how people get pulled into the entities games. When I saw the campfire I was like oh shit they are the new survivors

Just once I'd like to see one of these games where everything appears to be suspicious, but then it turns out everything is actually fine, nothing even slightly noteworthy happens and the ending is purposefully anti-climactic and dull. Maybe I'm a masochist, but I kinda like the idea of horror induced blue balling.

When I first saw the trailer for this game, I couldn't wait for it to come out. Loved the Until Dawn vibes from I got from it. So I'm super excited to watch this playthrough.

People blessing you is usually a huge red flag (currently living in the bible belt usa for some reason) If you acknowledge it in anyway they'll invite you to their church, and when you tell them you're not religious, they either dig hard and try to convince you or never talk to you again.... kind of isolating, but I'd rather not talk to people who don't respect my private beliefs that don't affect them. (Good story, me, way longer than I meant to write 😂) ❤'s!

I have played all of the first chapter myself and all i can say it was amazing it has alot of potential and well one thing i do hope for in the next chapters is i hope we we can help the rest of Rambley's friends and not have them die like Mollie cause jeez we already had to go though that with the glamrock's from FNAF security breach.

I wish games would take minx on as a beta tester/test audience. She always finds the bugs, she's brutally honest, she gets all the references you slip into horror games, and even her struggle with playing games sometimes coupd help show how a layman would experience the game. Like "the motion blur made it hard to see items" or "them talking while I'm trying to read puts me off".

Honestly the lore of the original parts of DBD (so not the collab killers and survivors) is super cool! I love what I’m seeing so far and all the references

I was very hopeful because of the smaller cast I thought there would be more character development but this feels way too linear for a choice based narrative game and it’s worse because there is only one ending just small variations in it. Detroit become human is still one of the best choice based games because not only were there variations in the endings but actual multiple endings influenced by past decisions.

Yeah the ending is that they are now in the entity's realm it's an origin story for a new group of survivors and killer. I think it's an ending that resonates with fans but is confusing for people who aren't into the DBD lore. As for the alternate realities I think what we're meant to take away is that with Augistine collecting alternate reality versions of the film she cut them together which is why the 1980 timeline was an alternate universe to 2024. To be fair alternate realities have always been a part of the DBD lore.

Considering how poorly DBD runs, this game shitting the bed is of no surprise lol. And the hyperrealistic faces give me war flashbacks of Stray Souls Update after finishing it: While the concept was cool, the DBD lore just kind of collapses on itself and someone who plays the game, didn't even try understanding the lore even when I first started. Not really impressed with the game, but it is what it is.

from everything i know about dbd that ending tied in completely with all of its overarching lore and made complete sense to me. its how everyone ends up in the dbd universe, and them making a movie and the -cough- Trope That Minx Hated w this being the result was a really cool tie in explanation of how the universe of the dbd game came to be specifically. i really liked this, it was fun and silly and great

Chris doing the "What's up, party people?" line, after Jaime and Robert were having that spat around 2:46:00? Pretty damn sure Emma from The Quarry said a similar line, too. Makes more sense why Chris annoys me so much; over the top and sometimes exploitative, similar archetype to Emma. Also, I gotta be honest that the spat between those guys is SOOO much unnecessary drama. 🙄 Feels bordering on forced, and is as annoying as the love triangle from House of Ashes. Waiting to see wtf is happening in the modern day, and what is Augustine doing that's holding that trio up? Gonna edit this, after I get to the end of this vid, but I seriously couldn't help but get out my comment on how little I care for the love triangle trope in these games. They just never seem to be written compelling enough to feel like they work as a decent subplot. EDIT #1: 3:01:30 Well, FUCK 🤯 EDIT #2: 3:15:00 I'm pretty sure that Akkadian demon is Pazuzu; he was a demon of pestilence, but anyone who wore amulets and charms connected to him were said to be under his protection. EDIT #3: 3:55:10 OH, FUCK! 😱 EDIT #4: ...okay, after 4:32:40, I think I'm starting to understand why Madi and Linda keep seeing Bonnie's face horrifically warped...! FINAL EDIT: Gotta agree with Minx, on certain points. There were a lot of good ideas, buuuut not that great of an execution with this game. I don't mind particular aspects, but...it was admittedly one mess of a game.

I really enjoyed watching this. I think the ending really is based on weather or not you play DBD or not. Though i wish they made it more fun for casual players or first time. It leaves on a cliffhanger which I expected from this game. Frank Stone, as well as Madi, Chris and Linda (the whole gang might too ) will all prolly be in DBD one way or another in a future update. I do wish it was more of an Anthology with pre existing lore and characters. Franks design fucking horrific, i love it. That said, I really wish it didn't take 3 hours for something scary to really happen. You get the cold open and wait for 3 hours. For something remotely to happen. Way too fucking long. They kept my interest with the story, but for how fast paced the ending was, made it super not friendly to anyone who never played or not up to date with DBD. I feel the entity should've been explained more, on its powers (as vast as they are) Action and stuff should've happened sooner, even if it didn't place chronologically. I wish there was more of Frank Stone than the last half hour? and even that went by too quick. I don't mid the way it ended with them at the campfire with Claudette. But wish we knew where Chris went, if she wasn't put in the trials. TLDR, I liked it, wish the pre-lude wasn't 3 hours, the ending was too rushed, not enough of the killer, not very good at introducing someone to play DBD. Essentially this is a big Trailer for a future killer and survivors in the game. It's just one big 5 hour Ad for it. So if its confusing and making people made, with glitches and story. It's cool for what it was. Wish a little more Frank in The Casting of Frank Stone.
